Obituary for Alice G Gagnon (Bergeron)
Alice, age 90, born on August 23, 1931 in Phillipsburg, Quebec Canada to Phileas and Cecile (Cacorette) Bergeron, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2022 with her daughter Sharon by her side in Lady Lake, Florida.
We are filled with peace knowing she is now in the loving arms of Christ her Savior and surrounded by all her loved ones.
Alice was a devout Christian and took solace in the relationship she had with her savior. She enjoyed reading, golfing, gardening, and cooking delicious meals for family and friends, especially Chicken n' Dumplings and homemade soups.
For most of her life, Alice resided in Winooski, Vermont with her husband Frederick Bergeron raising their 6 children. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Lavallee, Diane and husband, Richard Lavigne, Sharon and husband, Kevin Morin, Carol and husband, Rod DeVoid, Joanne Bergeron, also her brother Richard, his wife Sarah Bergeron and sister, Denise St. Pierre
Alice is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Alice is also survived by her step children, Scott and wife Lisa, Shannon, Michele and Stephanie Gagnon.
Alice was predeceased by her parents, Phileas and Cecile Bergeron, her first husband Frederick Bergeron, her sons, Frederick Jr., Kenneth and Michael Bergeron and great grandson Gabriel Lavigne. As well as 3 brothers and her second husband Charles Gagnon.
Our mother was a loving and faithful woman, please do a random act of kindness in memory of her.
The family is planning a celebration of Alice's life in May of 2022. Arrangements are being handled by Lavigne Funeral Home in Winooski, VT.
