John ‘MadCap’ Bailey, a resident of Colchester, VT, passed away peacefully in his home on the brisk morning of October 24, 2022. John fought a courageous battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD. John was born in Boston, MA, on September 14, 1960 (62). He leaves behind his beloved daughter; Chantel Marie Bailey (25), his Kitty-Cat; his remaining two sisters; Maude Bissonnette (70), and Mary Bailey (65), along with his remaining three brothers; Gary Bailey (64), Bruce Bailey (60), and Howard Bailey (59). John was known for his passion for baking delicious pastries, adventuring through New England with Chantel, his sense of humor, and riding with his motorcycle club. John will be cremated, and there will be no services at this time, per his final wish.
