Obituary for Nicole Noonan
Shelburne, VT
Nicole Noonan, 22, passed away and left the confines of her wheelchair on April 28, 2022, wrapped in the loving arms of her parents and brother. She was born in Shelburne on April 13, 2000. Nicole's infectious, beautiful smile and her love of life captured the hearts of everyone who met her. She will be missed beyond words by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Matt & Laura and her brother Will. She is also survived by grandparents John (Terry) & Brenda Noonan, Charlotte Teese, Roger & Jodi Teese, uncle & aunt Greg & Rebecca Teese and many other aunts, uncles & cousins.
Special thanks to all her wonderful caregivers throughout her short life, especially Mary Lefebvre & family and Nikki Jiraff & family along with many others who cared deeply for her.
Nicole never let her physical challenges limit her joy - her love for adventure and new experiences inspired her family every day. She traveled to Disney (twice!), Boston, Newport RI, Old Orchard Beach ME, Mont Tremblant, Montreal Canada, went horseback riding, adaptive skiing, swimming, sailing, fast laps in her dad's racecar, and so much more. She loved adventures, her family and friends. It is this joy that we will carry with us until we meet again.
There will be a service Saturday May 14th at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church in Winooski followed by a Celebration of Life, at her parents home from noon til whenever at 5897 Spear St., Shelburne, VT. There will be food, music, Nicole movies and smiles.
